Mark Conrardy is from Kansas. He attended Kansas State University where he graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Architectural Engineering. Upon completing college, Mark moved to California where he worked for Ware Malcomb Arichitects. Mark’s first job at that firm was working on presentation drawings for the 1984 Los Angeles Olympics. While working in architecture, Mark completed
many parts of the California State Architectural Licensing Exam including Architectural Design.

Mark moved back to Kansas City in 1987 and worked for Transworld World Airlines for the Passenger Accommodations Engineering Section as a computer draftsman. He then went back to school where he got his Commercial Art degree at Johnson County Community College in 1991.

In 1993, Mark worked as a computer produciton artist for Gill Studios, a silkcreening company, in Lenexa, KS. There Mark became familar with about
150 font styles.

In 1994, Mark worked for the Lawrence Journal-World newpaper as an artist
in the advertising department. Mark worked mostly on speculative ads and
special sections.

in 1996, Mark moved to South Carolina where he worked for the South Carolina Department of Health & Environmental Control (SCDHEC) as a graphic artist/illustrator. In 2001, Mark switched state agencies and now works for the South Carolina Department of Natural Resources (SCDNR) in the same capacity.

In his free time, Mark enjoys getting exercise on a regular basis. He enjoys rowing on the Broad River with the Columbia Rowing Club, going to the gym and bicycling. Day trips to Charleston and the beach are also favorite things to do on weekends.
